Vehicle-Specific Turn-by-Turn Navigation
Drivers, dispatchers and fleet managers can configure CoPilot with vehicle routing profiles, taking into account specifications like vehicle type and size as well as any load weight and type restrictions (like hazardous materials). This ensures drivers are guided on legal, planned routes suited to their vehicle and that they avoid low bridges, tunnels and restricted roads.
Lane Assist, Turn Guidance & Side of Street Routing
CoPilot warns drivers of upcoming lane changes with real road signage and lane assist visuals, so an already complex maneuver is made less dangerous. Plus, CoPilot takes into account the vehicle’s profile to ensure it's able to make sharp turns before they become a problem. And with side-of-street routing options, CoPilot can guide a driver to a stop on the same side of the street as the direction they’re traveling so as to avoid risky maneuvers.
Back Office App Management
CoPilot’s settings can be changed remotely from the back office, allowing dispatchers and fleet managers to control if and when drivers are able to access the application. Plus, our Motion Lock controls help limit driver interaction with CoPilot while their vehicle is in motion. And when events transpire on the road, alerts are sent to our RouteReporter* tool for post-trip analysis.
Traffic & Slowdown Alerts
CoPilot’s ActiveTraffic service* combines real-time and historical traffic data to provide drivers a more accurate picture of how traffic will behave along their routes. Look ahead to gain a complete perspective on potential risks, and receive proactive, in-app notifications when unforeseen slowdowns loom on high speed interstate highways or motorways.
Speed Alerts & Roll-Over Warnings+
CoPilot provides detailed information about posted speed limits and upcoming risky turns. When a driver greatly exceeds the speed limit or approaches a turn that could cause the vehicle to roll over if taken too fast, clear audio and visual warnings prompt the driver to take action.
Real-Time Weather Alerts*
Our Weather Intelligence provides hyperlocal weather alerts to help fleets adapt to bad weather in real time. This service helps drivers and fleet managers plan ahead to reduce the risk of an accident and avoid potential delays in the event of hazardous conditions along their routes.

Even when a device loses connection to a network, CoPilot provides offline navigation. By seamlessly transitioning when offline, CoPilot ensures drivers do not need to struggle to adjust the app manually or stop to ensure they still have the directions they need.

Live parking insights help drivers across North America access real-time information about the availability of parking for large vehicles, including facility hours. This feature helps drivers plan before arriving at a location or truck stop, so they can limit the need to search for a space and avoid dangerous situations requiring risky maneuvers. Upon arriving at a location, drivers can also provide feedback on parking.
Hours of Service Break Planning
Built-in Hours of Service (HOS) functionality helps drivers better plan their days and manage their hours.
